Robotic Process Automation (RPA) seminar has successfully completed in cooperation with adidas.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) enables the automation of processes by the use of software robots that interact with a computer interface the same way a human would do. Within our seminar students engaged in applications of RPA with hands-on experience. Students worked in teams that dealt with use cases of process automation such as preparing reports for data extracted from SAP ERP or replying to comments received on social media channels. One of the designed robots retrieves data of material stock levels from SAP, arranges the data in MS Excel, creates a chart that is copied into a MS PowerPoint presentation and finally sends the presentation via email to the management team as you can see in this video.
The exciting final presentation of the teams was held at the new adidas Campus in Herzogenaurach.
Throughout the seminar, participants not only learned the principles of business process management but also discovered the methods and technologies for process improvement and automation with practical implementation.
